Small business owners unite! Elsa Fernandez, owner of Eye Candy Boutique, has has transitioned from temporary OPEN participant to a long-term boutique at 531 Navarro St.
Eye Candy Boutique, a woman’s clothing boutique specializing in in plus-size fashion, participated in the OPEN Downtown Pop-Up shops last May and is the first pop up shop to find a permanent location through the program. Before Elsa Fernandez transformed 531 Navarro into a fashion boutique, it was merely a vacant space collecting dust.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better location to start the boutique and am so grateful to San Antonians that are now regular clients and consistently support the brand,” says Elsa. “The renovated space in which I was only to be set-up 90 days has now become the home of Eye Candy Boutique and it is beyond thrilling to be here during the holidays. The biggest thank you goes to the City of San Antonio, the CCDO and the OPEN Downtown Pop-Up Shop program for this invaluable experience.”
