This week we tried the newest spot near Pearl, located at 521 East Grayson. Grayze on Grayson has everything from kale to mac and cheese and are expanding menu options in the coming month.
Walking into a new restaurant is always a thrill. Grayze has a natural, relaxed vibe with gorgeous wood furnishing made from a 150 year old barn in Lubbock, TX. The walls are lined with wine bottles stacked in a wooden pole.
After we ordered our sparkling water and looked over the amazing grubs on the menu, we had to choose one. I decided on ordering the fiery red head, a blackened redfish po’boy topped with crystal remoulade, tomato relish and rocket. Alyssa ordered the queso classico, a 5 grilled cheese sandwich on a buttered sourdough bread, served with tomato marmalade and grain mustard.
Graze on Grayson opened its doors January 11th. Grayze will begin serving Sunday brunch in February and breakfast tacos and coffee will be on the patio Monday through Friday from 7 to 10:30 a.m.
