Chandeliers, wine and Italian fare encompass Edera Osteria Entoeca, located at 1903 San Pedro Ave. We sat down in this new restaurant and were offered a glass of prosseco to start off our dining experience. (Yes please!)
Alyssa and I opted in for a few appetizers to start, because you only eat dinner once a day. The stracciatella di bufala was our pick. A house made potato bread topped with mozzarella di bufala cheese. Hidden under the cheese was a thin layer of orange marmalade to sweeten the whole deal.
Alyssa chose the diavolo pizza. Made with a spicy diavolo sauce, topped with chorizo Espanol, sopressata, capicola and piparras. This pizza is all about the sauce, and not to mention the perfect presentation!
I went for a dish that was sweet over savory. The Salmon alla griglia is grilled and served over pickled peaches roasted heirloom tomatoes, baby spinach and saffron nage.
