Yes, the rumors are true, the nationally recognized pastry shop, Bakery Lorraine, is opening another location at the end of the month! Known for its colorful macarons and elegant French pastries, this second location at the San Antonio Medical Center is sure to be a hit.
Bakery Lorraine’s Medical Center menu will offer breakfast, lunch, and of course, pastries. The breakfast menu will feature items such as the quiche Lorraine, the breakfast parfait, and breakfast sandwiches. For lunch they will serve savory items such as chicken potpie, an array of salads and soups, and artisan sandwiches.
“We’ve watched our location in the Pearl grow so quickly and receive so much local support,” said operator Charlie Biedenharn. “We are thrilled to be opening a second location in one of the largest parts of San Antonio.”
The chefs of the restaurant pride themselves on the simplicity of the dishes which are also freshly prepared and well served. Bakery Lorraine was named one of the best new bakeries in the U.S. since its Historic Pearl location has been opened.
Come check out the new location (opening this month), at 7338 Louis Pasteur Dr., and taste the delectable pastries that they have to offer.
