Box St. All Day has just opened its second location in the La Cantera area. The restaurant’s vibrant design and creative menu are a true reflection of the passion and vision of its three owners: Chef and co-owner Edward Garcia III, creative partner Luisa Garcia, and co-owner Daniel Treviño. The trio found success with their popular food truck before opening the two brick and mortar locations.
Box St. All Day serves up brunch, lunch, and dinner all day long. The extensive zero-proof menu is expertly curated and featues the exceptional Ritual Zero Proof spirits. I was thrilled to see so many options – it was difficult to decide!
The house-made donuts are a must – soft, sweet, and perfectly glazed. The bean and cheese empanadas are paired perfectly Lilly’s salsa. We also loved the light and crispy potato flautas with poblano sour cream, pickled red onions, queso fresco and crema.
If you love brussels sprouts, make sure to order the brussels sprout hash complete with red onions, cauliflower, herbs, sweet peppers, dill tzatziki and pepita dukkah.
To no surprise, Box St. All Day’s coffee menu is divine, featuring unique offerings like the Piloncillo Latte and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte.
