BestofMexicoCulinariaThe best of Mexican street foods and interior of Mexico cuisine came together to form Culinaria’s Best of Mexico at the Shops of La Cantera on Friday, March 15th. The latin music in the air completely transformed the vibe of La Cantera during the exciting and much anticipated event. Three separate food sections and a large beverage section with numerous different types of delicious cocktails were the main parts of this spicy, Culinaria event.

DSC_0400IMG_5653IMG_5652IMG_5645IMG_5649We arrived at 7 p.m., with an ounce of hope to beat the crowd, but when there are this many popular restaurants and talented chefs in one location, crowds are inevitable. If you follow us on Snapchat (TwentySA), you saw the never ending line that we stood in for the first round of comida. I was ready to start piling food onto my plate, but was pleasantly surprised to find that I had time to eat each dish as we walked through.

IMG_5651The next Culinaria event, The Tasting Rooms at the Grotto at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, is tomorrow at 1 p.m. We’re most excited for the Burgers & Beer event at Pearl on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.!

What’s your favorite Culinaria event?
