The Texas Public Radio put on an event that showcases Texans and their life stories; they call it Worth Repeating. With San Antonio’s 300th anniversary just around the corner – a few years away – the stories of the locals are more unknown compared to those of the locals of New York, Chicago, and Boston. TPR wants to recognize the people of San Antonio and their important stories.
The group meets once a month during its season and seven people have seven minutes to share a true story of their life centered around a common theme. Some past show themes have been “I’m Going To Go Back There Someday”and “Lies, Damned Lies And Statistics.”The experience is meant to have San Antonio tell us about itself and its people.
The next show, hosted on February 2, is titled “Big Mistakes” at the Josephine Theatre. Come out to listen to San Antonio stories or to tell your own! Don’t miss out on the fourth installment of Worth Repeating, get your tickets here!
