Prove your humanity

We’ve been obsessed with Nectar Wine Bar and Ale House since it opened late August of 2015. The spacious restaurant features a full wine bar, white picnic tables and Insta-worthy couches to lounge on. As someone who can eat cheese for every meal, I’ve found so much happiness at Nectar because of its extraordinary charcuterie and fromage boards.

Nectar Wine BarPair your sparking wine with a smoked salmon board complete with chèvre, caviar and French baguette points. The gorgeous presentation caused hesitation in taking the first bite. Who would want to ruin this spectacular dish? After a few seconds, I took my knife to the chèvre and topped it on the baguette. The caviar pops perfectly in your mouth with each bite and truly makes the smoked salmon board.

Nectar Wine BarAnother wonderful entree highlighted at Nectar is the shrimp stack. Shrimp, avocado, tomato and bacon served atop arugula on a French baguette. We must say, shrimp and baguettes go quite well together.

Nectar Wine BarRarely do I find myself saving the best for last, however, this is the case here. The joie de vivre at Nectar may be one of the most beautiful dishes I have ever ordered. With your choice of two, three or up to four meats and cheeses, this is all you need to pair with your favorite glass of wine. If you can’t seem to pick from the extensive list, ask your server for a suggestion! After a few quick questions, they’ll know exactly what your taste buds are craving!

Nectar Wine Bar and Ale House is located at 214 Broadway and features happy hour Monday through Friday and Sunday brunch.
