Prove your humanity

For some, the most wonderful time of the year is Christmas, but for others, it’s Fiesta in San Antonio. For 12 straight days the city transforms into a plethora of traditional Mexican celebrations and the party doesn’t stop until…until April 30th. When Fiesta 2018 kicks off on Thursday, April 19th, do you know what you’ll be wearing? This year we headed to Boerne’s Hill Country Mile for some Fiesta inspired shopping.ella-blue-boerne-3Our first stop on the Hill Country Mile was Ella Blue, a chic and trendy boutique located at 146 South Main. As soon as I eyed the stylish mannequin out front, I was thrilled. The tropical themed shirt paired with a statement turquoise necklace and a straw, wide-brimmed hat would be a very trendy way to Fiesta.

ella-blue-boerne-2Lately when our minds begin to daydream a slideshow of Fiesta food parades across our closed eyelids. We will definitely be indulging in food and drinks during the Fiesta festivities and we believe it’s important to feel comfortable all night long! A loose, off-shoulder white top with a lace sleeve will keep you comfy and sexy. Bring on all the churros! Please.

dienger-trading-co-boerneA short walk down the Hill Country Mile and we found ourselves in front of the Dienger Trading Co., a coffee shop, cafe and fashion boutique! Yes, it truly is as amazing as it sounds.

dienger-trading-co-boerne-3Whatever you choose to wear to Fiesta, bright colors are highly encouraged. This is not the time to be fashion shy which is why this bright yellow dress made our list! Throw this baby on with some sandals and you’re good to go – day or night.

Dienger features numerous options for more causal, yet on trend pieces for Fiesta like this beautiful black dress with floral embroideries. Dienger also sells children’s clothing, chic children’s clothing.

pixie-boerneWhen you walk into Pixie, our third boutique on the Hill Country Mile, you’re stepping into a Fiesta wonderland. The array of bright colors doesn’t end at Pixie. From the entrance to the exit, vivid skirts, dresses and tees fill the racks.

Pixie also features an extensive collection of kimonos that will take any outfit to the next level. Tank top and shorts? Throw on a kimono. Cute, short summer dress? Put a kimono on that too! The floral kimono pictured above is also under $37. Oh yeah!
