San Antonio is supporting local businesses and farmers by hosting farmers markets all around town. The veggies are brighter and the food is fresher. Trinity Market is run by a combination of students, farmers, and entrepreneurs who are committed to the education, involvement, and sustainability of our city. Some of the best vendors are at this market are 5 Points Local, Alexander Vineyards, Bombay Salsa Co., Lucky Dog Bakery & Boutique, The Lemonade Company, and many more. Trinity Market is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Everyone enjoys walking around Pearl on a nice sunny day, right? Open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., all of Pearl’s Farmers Market vendors are located within 150 mile radius of San Antonio which ensures that its produce are fresh and local. But they have more than just produce. This farmers market has over 40 vendors that sell items such as crepes, tamales, soaps, honey, and more. Side note, the chocolate peanut butter muffin from Sol y Luna Baking Company is incredible!
The Rim features a farmers market open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Hill Country Farmers Market hosts five markets in San Antonio and vendors sell to all of the locations. Some of the vendors at The Rim’s Farmers Market are B & G Cakes, Mike’s Seafood, Mudfire Pottery, and more.
Castle Hills features great vendors at the Local Farm To Market including Trainum Ranch, Johnsons Backyard Garden, PAWsitively Sweet Bakery, and a bunch more! This market was started to help the community enjoy fresh produce and handcrafted goods. There is regularly scheduled live music which adds to the upbeat vibe the market carries. This farmers market is open every Sunday from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.
Carousel Court, open every Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., is located at 1800 Nacogdoches Rd. Carousel Court’s market is a family fun environment for a bright Sunday. Vendors may change from week to week, but the farmers market promise of farm fresh produce and goods does not.
