Prove your humanity

In life we are all searching for one thing— a good Instagram photo op.  Alright… that might be an exaggeration but it’s pretty high up there on the list! Flower Vault, located at 20626 Stone Oak Parkway Suite 102, is a flower-themed pop up perfect for the Instagram pictures of your springtime dreams.

Flower Vault was thought up and created by Robbie and Sarah Forrest as an immersive pop up experience for people of all ages and even pets. Beautifully designed and colorfully executed, Flower Vault consists of 5 flower-themed rooms for visitors to experience and take pictures in. The pop up welcomes visitors on a reservation and limited walk-in basis so that guests never have to worry about being photobombed by others. For $15, a ticket grants access to all the flower-filled rooms and pictures your heart desires. Tickets can be booked in advance on their website and the space can even be reserved for events and larger-scale photoshoots. We are bringing you a look at the spaces so you can start planning your visit. Who will you take? And most importantly, what will you wear?

Step into the vault and behold a rainbow in full bloom. Just like the title of the first room suggests, the rainbow room is all our favorite colors in one place. Skip across gradient blue and pink flowers; grab a friend as you climb on the rainbow seesaw. Sure we saw kids on it, but it’s for adults too!

Larger than life, giant black and gold poppies line the second room in Flower Vault. The poppy room sparkles and shines while visitors pose around the biggest flowers in the pop up connecting room number 1 and 3.

Emerge from the dark poppy room and enter the pink peony room. From Blair Waldorf to Kim Kardashian, everyone has a soft spot for peonies. Romantic and sweet, they make a perfect addition to the pop up. Sit in the wicker chair or use the pink walls as your backdrop, the choice is yours!

The where’s wallflower room takes your great grandma’s floral couch to all-new levels. From the walls to every single piece of furniture, get lost in a sea of black and yellow florals in room number 4. Flower Vault even has matching patterned jumpers to help you become a true wallflower.

Reach for the sky and take a picture in the bluebonnet room. These wildflowers may be popping up around Texas highways, but you’ll only find them hanging in an upside down meadow in Stone Oak. The flowers in the final room hang from above; so get creative with your shots!

Tips: 1) For optimal picture taking, go during daytime hours— 4 out of 5 Flower Vault rooms have windows to let in natural light. And we all know the wonders of good natural lighting…

2) Take friends! The rooms are more than a backdrop; share a laugh, ride the seesaw, or disappear in the wallflower room. The pictures you’ll get after a trip to Flower Vault will be great, but it’s also an immersive experience. Don’t be afraid to put the phone down for a few minutes!

As of now, Flower Vault is only scheduled to be open through Spring 2018. So be sure to grab your tickets and snap your pictures before it’s too late; tickets are already available on their website for weekends in April from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Which room are you most excited to see IRL?
