Throughout the years, I have found many incredible local businesses on the ‘gram. A few weeks ago, I saw a gorgeous new coffee AND flower shop open in San Antonio and made a note to visit when I was in the area the following week. As someone who adores having fresh flowers in my home (but regularly can’t because of my beautifully curious cats) the idea of sipping a warm latte in cool weather and then grabbing a floral bouquet sounded like my dream morning.
Located in Olmos Park, The Honey Bean Coffee + Tea Co recently expanded their local coffee trailer to a full brick and mortar with accompanying flower shop, South Llano Floral. With large windows, cozy couches and chairs to lounge in, and gorgeous flower arrangements throughout, The Honey Bean feels very cozy and warm.
Before expanding to San Antonio, the Honey Bean began its journey in Junction, Texas, as a small coffee trailer in 2019. Owner Candace Morrison is committed to sustainability, using recyclable plant fiber and agave straws, along with 100% compostable hot cups and lids. “I wanted to pair our environmentally conscious exterior with an equally thoughtful interior,” she explains. The café sources only natural and organic syrups, fair-trade organic coffee beans, and Texas dairy products.
The Honey Bean recently dropped their fall menu and it includes a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Cardamom Vanilla Latte and Carrot Cake Latte! Show some local love this season and stop by to enjoy a coffee, grab a vegan pastry from local bakery Cake Thieves, and perhaps even a new floral arrangement for your home or business.

The Honey Bean in Olmos Park is open from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
