Sarah DuffyLocated in the heart of downtown San Antonio is the city’s latest coffee shop to add to your list. LOLA Coffee opened its doors on December 23rd and they are putting modern twists to our classic lattes.
LOLA is located on the bottom floor of the Jefferson Bank Building at 711 Navarro St. and right across the street from Travis Park. I know what you’re thinking, parking must be a pain! But, LOLA has a solution to the struggle that is downtown parking. LOLA offers 30-minute visitor parking and two-hour validated parking at the Travis Park Plaza garage for their guests.
What makes this coffee shop so unique is the eclectic-yet-minimal interior, scenic location (great for people watching) and to top it off, handcrafted drink combinations that are more interesting than your everyday cappuccino.
My personal favorite is the Espresso Tonic (Iced Americano with Tonic Water). This citrus twist is a sweet surprise and made me want all my Americanos to be bubbly from here on out. Another drink that caught our eye was the Turmeric Latte; it’s a great alternative for those who love coffee shops but don’t like coffee.
This location is an Instagram dream so make sure to snap a pic of your coffee on their cute speckled tables and get your pal to take one of you by the window for that perfect urban Parisian shot we’ve all been wanting to get!
Their hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Make sure to arrive early if you want a breakfast taco from Regio Café. LOLA is selling their Bean and Cheese and Papas Rancheras Tacos; get ‘em while they’re hot! 🔥
