Prove your humanity

Maverick Music FestivalMaverick Music Festival returned to rock San Antonio this past weekend occupying the La Villita art community downtown. Music, food, art, games, drinks, and DJ’s were to be enjoyed across the grounds. This is Maverick’s fourth year running, and for a newer festival it’s starting to gain momentum with larger musical guests.

The festival’s goal is to bring in musical acts that would not otherwise stop by in San Antonio. This years headliners included Public Enemy on Friday and the Flaming Lips on Saturday. Other talented bands occupied the two stages throughout the weekend including: Bright Light Social Hour, The Drums, The Octopus Project, Bright Like the Sun, The Church, Young Fathers, The Reverend Horton Heat, Wild Child among others.
