The Broadway Street Corridor in downtown San Antonio has been flourishing with revitalization
and community engagement over recent years.
The developments in this area offer locals and visitors much to explore from unique cuisine to
shops overflowing with handmade items and locally sourced products.

Local Businesses on Broadway
One of the newest restaurants on Broadway is Plantaqueria, a plant-based taco shop! Indulge in vegan goodness with Plantaqueria’s mini tacos, tortas, breakfast tacos, aguas frescas and more.
If you’re in the mood for something sweet, stop by La Boulangerie for French pastries and cuisine. Plantaqueria and La Boulangerie are right across the street from each other so you can easily visit both in one visit!
One of the newer shops I stopped by on Broadway that opened in February of this year is The Broadway Shops, home to Pandora’s Bookstore, Pure Aloha Bath and Beauty, and Kara Kind. The three women-owned businesses have created an inviting atmosphere featuring a bookstore, coffeeshop (soon!) and boutique all combined in one space. What an exciting and modern concept!
From shopping to entertainment to dining, find all the small local businesses in the Broadway area that need increased local support here.
