We first covered Revolución in 2015 when they expanded their Alamo Heights location near Broadway and 410. The coffee + fresh juice spot quickly became a favorite of mine, finding solace in the morning routine of ordering a Mayan Mocha paired with a papas rancheras and cashew cream taco and a lentil walnut with avocado lime sauce taco. I experienced my first açaí bowl here, a PB+J Açaí Bowl made with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, peanut butter, and house-made cashew milk, then topped with banana, strawberry, blueberry, and hemp granola. A moment for this incredible bowl.
Earlier this year, Revolución brought its thoughtfully curated, health-forward menu to a fourth location in Olmos Park. Since 2012, the café has been a vibrant part of the wellness scene in San Antonio and Austin, serving coffee, juices, and wholesome bites that encourage mindful, sustainable living.
Revolución integrates community and sustainability into every part of its operations. Here are a few reasons why we’ve continued to support this incredible company for over a decade:
- They partner with local artisans and suppliers, use entirely recyclable packaging, and roast coffee in-house on the lowest-carbon commercial roaster available — free of vents, gas, or emissions.
- They donate juice pulp to vegan farms and return glass bottles to schools and nurseries.
- Fresh, locally sourced ingredients arrive at their kitchen daily, where everything is made from scratch.
- Cashews, rice, oats, and raw sprouted almonds are blended and pressed in-house to create plant-based milks for their food, smoothies, nut milks, and açaí bowls.
- Each day, they cold-press a vibrant variety of 20 vegetables and fruits, crafting nutrient-rich juices.
The Olmos Park location is now open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering the community a new space to enjoy quality, sustainable nourishment.
