The west side of San Antonio continues to expand with the opening of Sainte Maria, a wellness + sustainable goods boutique housed in Warehouse 5 at 1333 Buena Vista. Featuring different artisans and craftsmen + women, Sainte Maria encourages conscious shopping, opting for high quality, durable products, something most mainstream stores have, unfortunately, fallen away from.
Located next door to Shotgun House Coffee, Sainte Maria was created from the minds behind Flora + Fortitude and Emjayze Hemp. The shop is unlike any in San Antonio, with an aesthetic that’s very West Texas-esque and an emphasis on showcasing high quality, hemp products.
While CBD, derived from the cannabis plant, continues to take over the canna (hemp) conversation, Sainte Maria focuses on the plant as a whole.
“We hope to shift a corner of our culture that is so driven by quantity to a culture of quality. To alter the literal atmosphere by showing the people that hemp can be used for sustainable paper packaging, plastics, apparel, fuel, and building materials while engaging with people and organizations to clean up our public areas.”
Sainte Maria will feature different artisans and craftsmen and women at the shop, all of whom “give a damn” about this beautiful planet we all reside on. Shop local + consciously this week (Wednesday through Friday) from 11am to 5pm. The shop will be posting their permanent hours on Instagram!
