All of their make up and beauty products are produced locally and I recently stopped by to learn more about their vegan makeup and skin care options.

Walking into Chalet’s playful pink showroom caused me to immediately take out my camera. I wanted to photograph everything! The pale pink corner with matching floral arrangements in the lobby to the stunning chandelier elegantly hanging in the showroom. Insta-worthy, for sure.

While I was chatting with Andrea, the bad ass boss babe who runs Chalet, she excitedly disclosed that they recently created a new pink color that doesn’t use carmine which is a pigment that’s found most commonly in beetles. Beetles in my pink lipstick? I had no idea.
I truly enjoyed lathering my body in their plant based coco butter. Not only is the coco eco-friendly, but it also moisturizes while diminishing pores. Another item that peeked my interest was the natural deodorant Chalet produces. I asked Andrea what the inspiration was behind creating a natural deodorant composed of essential oils and providing superior odor protection and she let me know she had tried all the natural deodorants at Whole Foods and none of them worked, so she created her own!
