There are some people who love yoga and others who feel like there is no way they could get their mind to rest for an hour. However, with a variety of new studios opening up, you should be able to find one that meets your needs whether you like working outside or want to add a few poses to the end of a cardio session.
One place to get your yoga fix is Mobile Om, which we have featured before due to their alternative to traditional yoga. You can practice with them anywhere from Rosellas Coffee to the Hays Street Bridge. While membership costs $65, the community classes are free and drop in passes are available too.

This is a great partnership between the City and Mobile Om because you will not only be provided with all you need for yoga, but will also be greeted with live music. 5 Points Local, which you might recognize as a restaurant, also offers weekly yoga. Teen yoga, Yoga for Lunch, and private classes are all available. Membership for an unlimited month is $125 but there are other options including 5, 10, and 20 class packages.
EnergyX Fitness, located at 5162 Broadway, is another great place to try if you are looking to combine yoga with another workout. While they offer various rowing and body weight training classes, they also offer a class called Row and Flow which includes rowing and strength intervals followed by yoga for a well-rounded workout. If you want to try it out, your first class is free!
Southtown Yoga Loft is perfect for those who live closer to Downtown. They offer a variety of classes, with as many as ten classes in a day. Some classes that they feature are a Beginner Flow, Yoga for Athletes, Gentle Yoga, and classes for you to bring your kids to. An unlimited month costs $150 but there are several other options you can buy into, or you can drop in for $17. They also offer a 10% student, military, and teacher discount.
If you are looking for classes that are broken down by skill level, Yoga Shala located at 18585 Sigma Road might be a good option for you! They have classes separated into levels of difficulty so that beginners don’t feel too far behind and those who consider themselves yogis are able to practice the more challenging moves. Their drop in rate is $15 and unlimited monthly is $125.
