The movie experience is shifting thanks to Casa Blanca, the newest Santikos Theatre located at 11210 Alamo Ranch Pkwy. From 90 foot wide screens to bowling and a full-service bar, movies at the theatre will never be the same.
The Twenty Something SA team stopped by Casa Blanca on opening day (June 9th) for the Purpose and Popcorn blogger luncheon. Did you know Santikos will donate an expected $12 million to nonprofits in 2016? The theatre groups main mission is to support our community, specifically people in need including seniors, special needs, victims of child abuse and disaster. relief. Casa Blanca, the first 100% laser digital project theatre in the entire world, is expected to bring in one million visitors annually, which means the community can rely on Santikos to support San Antonio charities and nonprofits.
Walking into the first movie theatre was astounding. Casa Blanca houses two of the biggest movie screens in Texas measuring 90 feet wide. Yeah, they were huge. Along with better picture clarity and reclining seats, four auditoriums feature full food and service at your seats! A “press for service” button is located on your armrest so you no longer have to worry about disturbing your neighbors during the climax! The menu features burgers, pizza, sandwiches, wraps, desserts and all your favorite adult beverages. We’re excited to try the pink margarita with watermelon pucker!
Do you ever get that urge to hit the bowling alley before your movie time? With 16 lanes, movies and bowling can coexist under one roof.
Ah! A theatre where food is delivered to you and your feet have a place to rest that doesn’t include hoping fellow patrons won’t sit down in front of you! Santikos has created the ultimate, relaxed atmosphere and we’re ready to get off our couch and head to the theatre!
