Buddy V’s Ristorante, located at 15900 La Cantera Parkway may be new to the city, but the Cake Boss’s Italian food restaurant is quickly becoming a SA favorite—especially with its 7-days-a-week happy hour!

With a menu sure to please everyone, Buddy V’s happy hour boasts $3 domestic beers, $5 well cocktails including sangria, prosecco & wines, $6 specialty cocktails and $4 small bites like our favorite Mac & Cheese Carbonara. If you work late but still want to try their extensive happy hour, Tuesdays are for you! Ladies can enjoy an extended happy hour schedule on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. And on Wednesdays, get over the mid-week hump with “Wine Down Wednesdays” and 50% off all wine bottles from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Sitting on the patio at Buddy V’s, the Melon Blossom is a refreshing mix of melon and citrus. With Grey Goose Melon, elderflower, orange-cello and cucumber, the drink reminded us of our favorite fruity martinis.

Sweet as can be, the Pomegranate Martini was made for pool weather. Mixing Absolut Elyx, Pom, PAMA and lime juice, it’s easy to see where this cocktail gets its fruity flavor and vibrant color.

We are always passionate about passion fruit. Put it in a cocktail and I’m sold! Buddy V’s Passion Fruit Mojito is light and cool with Bacardi Rum, mint, passion fruit AND mango. If you are a fan of mango, this cocktail is definitely for you.

Sangrias are synonymous with summer! So many friends recommended Buddy V’s Sangria that I finally had to try it for myself. This drink packs an unexpected punch, but with so much fruit lining the bottom of your glass you’re practically fulfilling your daily suggested serving of fruits. Or at least I like to think it works like that…
