Live music, art and camping come together at UTOPiAfest, an epic three-day festival in the Texas Hill Country. Located at the gorgeous Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, UTOPiAfest throws a party unlike any other music fests in Texas. I attended their Sweet Fest, a more intimate version of the fest, earlier this year and cannot wait to return this November.
The family-friendly fest features two stages that don’t overlap which means you don’t have to miss a set or listen to two bands at once. The music keeps flowing after the main stages close with late-night, intimate music gatherings at 1, 2, 3 and 4am.
I love how UTOPiAfest intertwines the beauty of visual art, music + nature. The festival grounds feature numerous art installations as well as hiking and biking trails. There’s even a disc golf course! Craft vendors will also be available for shopping it up. I would recommend bringing some food as well as indulging in the curated food + beverage vendors.
When you arrive at the UTOPiAfest grounds on day one, it’s time to set up your home for the next few days. If you’ve never experienced camping, don’t worry! Camping allows you to connect to nature in ways you never could when sleeping in a hotel bed. Also, there are numerous activities happening alllll day + night and you’ll have the freedom to escape to your camping area for some R&R or running out into the crowds to party it up. You can also chill it out near some dope art installations or one of the many wellness workshops that will be taking place. Not convinced on the camping? Rent an RV to be delivered on-site at www.txrvrent.com.
From late-night music gatherings to yoga classes, you’ve never fested like this. UTOPiAfest takes place on November 14-16, 2019. Get your tickets for the entire fest or just one specific day today by clicking here. Don’t forget to BYOB!
P.S. There’s also a silent disco once the moon rises, which is perhaps one of my favorite activities on Planet Earth. Grab some headphones, head to the flashing, colorful lights, and dance the night away.
