A brand new asian fusion restaurant, Wild Goji, has opened its doors at 7115 Blanco Rd. The new restaurant and bar brings unique Asian street food to San Antonio with dishes like sushi pizza, Yakitori and more. We tried some of the new menu items at a recent media dinner.
Our dinner began with fuji wontons and house made miso soup. Next up, three amazing sushi rolls were brought out before the main course. My favorite was the Texas Gulf Coast Roll, made with shrimp tempura, crab meat and avocado.
By the time our main courses came around I had filled up on sushi and soup, but that didn’t stop me from trying the Chef Zen’s Chicken. This sweet crispy chicken dish is served with white rice. Alyssa got her usual, Ramen tonkotsu with pork.
Before we said our goodbyes and began planning our next visit to Wild Goji, we tried the tempura ice cream.
Wild Goji is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
