Pinch Crawfish, a local restaurant pop-up concept, founded by San Antonio transplants Sean Wen and Andrew Ho. Pinch to bring people together around community crawfish boils while serving up fresh Southeast Asian street food snacks, Vietnamese style salads and seafood.
From ban mis to crawfish boils–the food they serve is a constant reminder of everyday meals Wen and Ho ate growing up in Houston. “I think food is one of the greatest proliferators of culture, of experience, of stories–and if we can get that out to the San Antonio community and have them understand where we come from and also see the type of delicious food we can eat, that’s all we want,” says Wen.
Pinch crawfish started a little more than 6 months ago and is currently selling out at local pop ups. Pinch currently collaborates with local restaurants like Oak & Salt, Dignowity Meats, HighWheel Beer Works–just to name a few. Ho & Wen are looking into a brick & mortar for Pinch Crawfish to bring more Viet-style street food to the San Antonio community.
